The glove is AMAZING.
You know, it's funny...I only ever draw or paint architecture and people (another funny thing is that I rarely do them together) and never everyday objects. So when I took on this portrait I was so worried that I'd do a horrible job of the glove that I spent longer on it than than on the entirety of the other portraits individually. That being said, I'm really happy with the way it turned out, but wish that I'd have rendered Mark as meticulously.
I don't know - there's something appropriate in having the glove be so prominent...it suits a picture of Mark. It would work for Dominic too!
